The Orion mPulse pulse arc welding system from Sunstone is the perfect welder for beginners or small shops and studios. With a flexible power range of 3 to 30 Joules, the mPulse is the perfect welding solution for closing jump rings, repairing porosity, repairing dental appliances or eyeglasses, and whenever you need a tiny spot weld in a very specific location. The mPulse power settings are controlled by a digital color touchscreen interface. You simply slide your finger left or right to dial in the exact energy level you desire, from 3.0ws to 30ws in 1ws increments—a total of 27 different power settings! The weld spot size on the lowest energy setting is approximately 1.5mm in diameter (depending upon the welding material). The mPulse works amazingly well with gold, silver, stainless steel, and many other metals and is a superior alternative to messy and toxic soldering. As the smallest pulse arc welder in the Orion line, the mPulse fits any workbench at 14.8x8.9x13.3cm (an optional microscope base footprint is 9.5x9.5cm).
